Visited Waterhall Rewilding project today. It still retains some of the golf course features and as a golfer it was nice to follow some of the old holes. The rewilding is starting transform the area and we look forward to visiting again over the years (we are staying nearby for a long weekend from Somerset). The grazing bullocks looked completely relaxed as they start to shape the landscape. Like nearby Knepp it’s wonderful to see these kinds of projects happening, increasing biodiversity in our country. Well done to Brighton Council and all those involved.

As a team we volunteered to help the efforts to rewild the former golf course. The staff there are incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the project and did a great job of educating us all.

It was a public golf course, its now a rewilding project. Though they let cows graze the land with some fenceless gadgetry. Just seems though the council have too much money, cutting down brush and employing a ranger.
