My daughter absolutely loves this after school club. They get a snack which they help make and then to run around with their friends playing games in the mud. She comes out full of happiness.

Both my kids who are 9 and 11 love Wood & Wild afterschool club. They enjoy spending time outdoors, feeling free, exploring, learning and most of all having fun and eating marshmallows)) thank you Toni and the team, you are amazing!

This is one of the best after school activities my children have and about the only holiday club they are willing to go to. Toni and the team make it so much for fun for them and they come back buzzing with excitement about the things they got to do.

Thank you ever so much, I love your whole ethos, it is such a fantastic organisation! All your staff are so warm, kind, enthusiastic, gentle and caring and obviously love what they do. I feel so lucky that my child was able to join the October half term holiday days and that you are running the after school groups too. My child particularly loved Toni who is one of those special people you love as soon as you meet them. My child is really looking forward to starting their regular after school group and asked me to sign them up straight away after their holiday days! I’d been keen on them joining the after school club for a while, as I thought that once they started they’d love it as they’ve always loved forest school during the school day. However when I asked them before they went on their two days this half term they said they really didn’t want to do the after school club. But they did want to do the holiday days though, so definitely had a real interest, but just didn’t like the idea of not coming straight home after school! It’s always been very tricky to encourage my child to join after school clubs & activities so you have worked magic in those two days;  really boosting their confidence by providing them with opportunities to use their creativity (without any pressure or judgement), make useful things they are so proud of and by enabling them to realise what amazing things they can do.

"Can I go to Forest School again tomorrow?" Eddie, 6, after his first day attending the Wood and Wild after school club! He loved it, and this is coming from a child who is pretty resistant to anything new and out-of-routine! It really helped that it was at his school, so there was a level of familiarity whilst trying something new. He really enjoyed it and can't wait to go back! I have also been with our 3yo daughter to the forest experience and that was very nice too - I liked that it had a little bit of structure but also featured lots of free roaming and exploring.

My kids have been going to Wood and Wild for a few years now - at their school and to the holiday clubs too. I have children who thrive outside. They come home from the holiday club at Pondtail Woods in amazing moods, no matter if it's been raining or sunny. Time spent in the woods, eating and chatting, playing games and crafting is worth it's weight in gold if you're looking for happy kids who sleep well that night. They are old hands are starting fires and building dens and have never ever said "I don't want to go today", even when it's cold. This is all because the amazing environment that Toni and her team create for the kids....and probably the smores. They love the smores too. We are so lucky to have then do the same as an after school club too and Ivy will be back this term to carry on her important den building work. I cannot recommend sending your kids here enough. In fact I take it back, if I tell you then the secret will get out and we won't have them and the woods all to ourselves 😂 If i could give you all 1000 stars I would.

My daughter had a wonderful first time at Wood and Wild this week. Everything looked so magical when we arrived! Really well organised, great range of activities and she came home wanting to return to forest school soon!

My little one was apprehensive at first but then walked into the woods, saw the fire and the tent and swing and ran to mingle and play. Lovely site, great staff and great set up!

My girls have been a number of times to the amazing holiday club and come home absolutely buzzing! In the freezing cold Toni and her team managed to create the perfect cosy set up for the children and likewise the shady site is perfect even on the hottest of days. They really look after each child as an individual and it’s an amazing way to encourage more exciting outdoors play. We’ve also done a birthday party which was a huge hit with the kids and parents! Thank you guys! Can’t wait to book in for the next holiday club!
